Free Anti Virus? It can't be....

Well, yes there are Free and very good Anti Virus (AV) programs out there that will do a good job and keep money in your pocket. You can go in to any high street retailers these days and get and  AV program but why give someone those hard earnt pennies when you can get good software for Free?

AVG is a good place to look for a good free AV, the software is powerful and yet doesn't hog all your system resources while your working. Non of that annoying 'jerking' while the AV scans in the backgroung. It has a nice simple interface to use and updating the software couldn't be more easy. More on that later.

The next AV worth a look is the Bit Defender AV solution. This is another well put together software package. It is about the same on resources as the AVG solution above. It still offeres good protectionfor your system for a free product. Again it has a nice interface that easy to work with is just as easy to update as AVG.
